Your instructor, Derek Miller, originally, from the Chicago improv scene, has performed and taught improv in L.A. for 15+ years. He’s performed 650+ musical improv shows at iO West with the show Opening Night: The Improvised Musical! In 2008, after touring with Second City at Sea, Derek landed the series The Hills: According to Me for MTV and played over 20 roles. In the 2009 Comedy Central series, Secret Girlfriend, he played Phil and was a consulting writer. In 2012, Derek joined the TBS comedy Wedding Band, as Barry the drummer.
